But we are also writing a new post here so we could quickly put up this fun image from the Pataphors crew hosting an intriguing April 6 show ( tonight ab 21h ) at West Germany venue in the Kreuzberg epicenter - am Kotti. And b/c it gives a little spring turbo charge to one of the themes we like to cover : arts + activism with a militant-resistance kick, combined with a certain situational irony and a sci-fi twist.
Announcement :Pataphors finally starts 2023 activities, this edition named "Negative 3.5K" celebrates the rising clusterfuck of german banking security systems and some exaptational ( *sic ) new theories for a world without Capital! Featuring:
*Samin S and Seht Z - Laptop media player convolution and 1970s analog beast summoning
*Dora Bleu and Cedrik Fermont - Guitar, voice, gongs, electronics falling in and out of the dreamscape

And there’s a few other exciting upcoming Btropolis events that the XLt are involved in, and we want to expand + expound a little on…
Francesco Mancori’s exhibition at Liebig12 Galerie should be a very interesting opportunity to meditate on what’s happening at the frontlines and/or at the outer limits of those expanding intersections of arts + technologies + the new algorithmic vortex. An excerpt from the show’s invite/announcement:
This set of works invite us to reflect on the tendency towards polarisation, the reduction of the complexity of reality towards binary oppositions in an illusory order and superficial meaning. This trend is not new, but has definitely increased in recent years. Since machine learning algorithms, artificial intelligence and big data processing are replacing us in making important decisions, while excluding both ethics and responsibility. The rapid proliferation of technology obliges us to have a constant critical analysis, to have a significant socio-political goal, to question the underlying moral implications of technology, and to reorient the cultural potential of the computer’s transformations of the social order. But there is another side of the algorithms that is present in this work: they are used to create beauty and meditation, and even as a call to action.
On opening nite April 13: ITINERANT INTERLUDE #101010 solo performances, h.19, by Marie Takahashi, (JP), viola and Kurihara Takuya, (JP), modular synthesizers, interpreting drawings from the partitura serie.
And a Finnisage on April 16: dj/xj Podmosis (Globalista Radio Kit ) will provide a live Globalista soundscape set, while intermixing a series of philosophical, situationist and interventionist rants on what it means for the Corporate Spotify algorithms “hijacking” all our ears in the public spheres everywhere… replacing the art of terrestrial dj organisms ( and human and/or alien radio arts ) with a new invasive species : the music-industry’s exploitative + plundering data-crawler “robots”.
XLterrestrials call for a militant rejection of Spotify and its Surveillance Krapitalism, its parasitic business model, and its becoming a new aggressive Monopole in the music spheres !
